Srinagar, May 13: Police on Friday said that a militant was killed in a gunfight at Brar Aragam area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora.

“Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” police said in a tweet, adding, “01 (militant) killed. Operation in progress. Further details shall follow.” IGP Kashmir said two recent infiltrated Pakistani militants of LeT who escaped from recent operation on 11 May 2022 at Salinder forest area were “tracked down. They have been trapped today at Brar.”
