ACB raids Pathwari’s house in Qamarwari

Srinagar: An Anti Corruption Bureau official was injured during a raid on a pathwari’s residence in Old Barzulla area on Thursday. The pathwari has been arrested.

According to officials a pathwari identified as Asif Ahmad living in from old Barzulla area of Srinagar was arrested in Police Station Saddar.

Offcials told INS that a team of ACB raided his residence on the basis of inputs.

“During raid family members of Asif assaulted the ACB team and one officer was injured,” they said.

Asif was later arrested and is detained in Police Station Saddar.
