Militant surrenders During Encounter: Police

Srinagar’ Nov 6: One militant surrendered during the ongoing operation at Meej area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said.
A police official said that a militant surrendered while “efforts are underway to persuade another militant trapped inside.” The identity of the surrendered one was not revealed so far. Earlier a militant was killed in the encounter and according to police the operation is still going on.
