Ganderbal, July 23: Police have arrested a man for the murder of his wife whose body was retrieved from river Sindh near Najwan Kangan area in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on July 15.
As per police, the woman Rubeena Bano (32) was killed by her husband namely Abdul Majeed Khan at their residence at Gonchi Mohalla Najwan Kangan and later threw her body into Nallah Sindh.
A police official said that during the course of the investigation it was found that Rubeena was killed by her husband with the help of his brother.
“The accused have been arrested in connection with the case FIR NO. 50/2020 US 302 IPC in police station Kangan and further investigation on.”
