Srinagar: Three militants have been killed in an encounter with government forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday, reports, and officials said.
They said a joint team of 34RR and Police Kulgam launched a cordon and search operation in an orchard at Hardmanguri area of Khur Batpora amid specific information about the presence of militants
A gunfight ensued and three militants have been killed so far, they said. As per police, this group of militants was involved in killing 3 persons in the district recently.
