Shopian: Government forces restored to Ariel firing during cordon and search operation (CASO) at Pinjora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian on Wednesday after protests broke out in the area.

Locals claimed that said that during CASO, a joint operation of various forces including Army , SOG of police and CRPF, Protests broke out in the area against the operation.
“Stone pelting erupted on forces who resorted to aerial firing to disperse the protesters,” they said.

Police sources said that the cordon was later lifted from the village.
