Mufti took to twitter and said that she had urged Abdullah to call for the meeting as their is panic among the people in the state.

“We the people of Kashmir need to stand up as one,” she tweeted.

In her tweet she said: “In light of recent developments that have caused a sense of panic amongst people in J&K, I’ve requested Dr Farooq Abdullah sahab to convene an all party meeting. Need of the hour is to come together & forge a united response. We the people of Kashmir need to stand up as one.”

The request comes in wake of the continues rumours that that Government of India is going to abolist Article 35A that defines the permenant residents of the the state of J&K.

The panic among the people is also driven by the continues leakage of government orders including that of police and forces personnel.

In a recent order SSP Srinagar ordered all the five Zonal SPs to collect data on all the mosques in the district Srinagar including that of their management committee and their ideological affiliataions.
