Baramulla: A militant who was killed in a gunfight with government forces in Wadoora Payeen village of Sopore last evening was on Wednesday buried in Sheeri area of this north Kashmir district.

A police officer said that body was buried as no family came forward to claim him. “If any family approaches police later, we will hand over the body after completing the due legal and medical formalities,” the officer said.
