Srinagar: One way traffic has been allowed to ply on Highway from Jammu towards Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
According to traffic police department officials the traffic NHW-44 will be one way towards Sringar.
They said that from Nagrota Jammu traffic will be allowed to move from 0700 hrs. to1300 hrs, from Jakheni Udhampur- from 0800 hrs. to 1400 hrs.
“No PSVs shall be allowed from ( Nagrota )Jammu and ( Jakheni) Udhampur after cut off timings,” officials said.
They said that for Heavey motor vehicles and load carriers the timing for movement has been set as well
“From Jakheni (Udhampur) from 1400 hrs. to 1900 hrs.
No HMV shall be allowed after cut of timings from (Jakheni) Udhampur,” he said.
Mughal Road, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari Road remains continuously closed due to snow accumulation.
“The commuters are advised not to travel during night hours,” officials warned.
No movement of any type of vehicle shall be allowed from opposite direction.
