Srinagar: Government forces on Sunday launched a cordon and search operation in Heff Shirmal village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that a joint team of army, SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF cordoned off the village following inputs about the presence of militants.
They said that a large number of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation is going on.
