Official apathy: Privately owned Cricket Association runs its office from Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, DDC unaware

Ganderbal: A private cricket organisation is holding it’s office in the mini secretariat Ganderbal flouting all norms and regulations of government establishments.
An organistion Girls Cricket Association recently posted an add on social media networks asking prospects candidates to get registered with them to be trained in the game.
The add provided an address of Mini Secretariat room no 347 of the government building.
Sources told INS that while many government offices are working from rental accomadations a retired government employee has been using the room to pursue his interests.
“The room was earlier provided to KVIB and YSS however due to political influence they were asked to vacate the premises and was provided to the said cricket association,” sources confided.
They said that the person has been influencing people by using the government building only because of nepotism in the administration.
Claiming no information District Development Commissioner Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan told INS that he has recently joined office in the district and won’t have the definete answer as to how a private profit making business is being run from Mini Secretariat.
