Shopian: Two militants killed in a brief shootout in Shopian village have been identified as local affiliates of Jaish e Mohammad outfit.

According to officials the two militants killed in the encounter include Shah Jahan Mir R/o Amshipora Shopian and Abid Wagay R/o Rawalpora Shopian.

Mir, officials said was a top JeM commander.

“Bodies have been handed over to respective families,” they said.
