Girl critically injured in accident near GDC Handwara, shifted to Srinagar

Kupwara: A girl has been critically injured in an accident near Government Degree College Handwara on Saturday.

According to initial reports the girl was on its way to the college, when she was injured following two cars rammed into each other.

She was quickly evacuated to District Hospital Handwara for treatment, and was referred to Srinagar as her condition deteriorated.

“She is critically injured and has been referred to Srinagar,” reports said.

The identity of the girl is being ascertained.
