Kupwara: Scores of youth were seen on Wednesday passing exam relevant material to the students of 10th standard in Bi-Annual examination at Government Higher Secondary School Handwara in this north Kashmir district.
Eyewitnesses said most of the people accompanying the students in the bi-annual examination were seen cling to perilous ledges of the school windows and pass notes through to the students.
Some influenced students were allowed to sit in separate rooms who were later helped by the outsiders or by the on duty teachers, an eyewitness said.
It’s not for the first time that some influential students were allowed to mass copy but it has happened here from time and time, the locals said.
“I have received a complaint in this regard and I have sent Deputy CEO on spot to collect the details,” CEO Kupwara said, adding, “accordingly will see what needs to be done.”
