KU cricketer gets a call for Vizzy Trophy

Srinagar:  Nasir Lone from Bandipora who represented Kashmir University in the recently concluded North Zone Inter university tournament -2018 has been selected for coaching -cum -selection trials of North Zone combined Universities team for participation in Vizzy Trophy on account of his outstanding performance in the inter-university cricket tournament.

The coaching camp is being organised by M.D. University Rohtak from 5th March, 2019 in which the shortlisted players from all the Universities of the North Zone with exceptional performance have been invited.

The selection of Nasir lone in the probables for Vizzy trophy is a landmark achievement for the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports KU.

 Vizzy trophy is one of the prestigious tournaments of the country being organised by AIU in collaboration with BCCI.

On such a landmark achievement Dr Nisar Khan, Coordinator, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports and Nadeem Ahmad, Assistant Director, congratulated the boy and wished him best of luck and also lauded the strenuous efforts of the Cricket coach.

Other staff members of the Directorate also congratulated Nasir and wished him best of luck for future endeavors.
