Sopore: Government forces on Thursday afternoon launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Warpora village of Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that a team of Army’s  22 RR, Special Operations Group of Police (SOG) and CRPF jointly conducted searches in Warpora  area of Sopore.

They said the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area. When this report was filed, door to door search were underway.
