Kupwara: More than twenty thousand first time voters have been added to the list of people exercising their franchise in District Kupwara. 
Addressing a presser DEO Khalid Jahangir said that that they well prepared for holding the Parliamentary as well as Assembly polls. 
“We have positively completed ULB and panchahyat elections with highest percentage which won the award to our district as well,” Jahangir said.
He said that they will be conducting election awareness programs across the district to cover more sections of the society into electoral process.
“We have constituted a special team who will monitor all the happenings and for that a senior official as nodal officer, Shahbaz Qureshi has been assigned the task,” he said.
