Srinagar: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday announced support to the call for shutdown on the 13 and 14 February against the threat to the Article 35A.
In a statement issued in this regard, the KCC&I spokesman said that the issue of attempts to dilute Article 35A was highly sensitive and members of the business community were ready to support all actions taken for safeguarding the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The business community would stand firmly behind the people for defeating all mischievous conspiracies aimed at creating disturbances in our State,” the statement added. The call for the shutdown was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik.
