Kulgam: Three villages in south Kashmir have seen no electricity since a month now and official assurance of  having ‘respite soon’ has brought no sigh of relief.

The villages include Danjanbal Chinigam Frisal, Syed Pora Panzath and Pati Akhran village in south  Kashmir’s Kulgam.

Locals of these villages allege that authorities many a times told them that there will be speedy work however all there assurance were proven hoax.

Residents of Danjanbal Chinigam Frisal told INS that since 4 months the area is suffering badly due to erratic power supply and at times supply was stopped for weeks.

“Now its almost a month that the area has not received electricity despite repeated appeals to higher authorities,” they said.
