Condolence meeting held to mourn demise of Al-Haj Nazir Ahmad Zargar; INS management express sympathy

Pulwama : The residents of Lalgam hamlet in Tral sub division of South Kashmir have expressed resentment over the absence of bridge on “Chandri-Ara” nallah.
The locals told INS that they have been appealing for the bridge from several years but their “pleas are turning into deaf ears as no bridge is being constructed on it”
They said that “if there will be bridge on this nallah, two areas will get connected to each other and 30 minutes journey will also get reduced to 05 to 07 minutes”
“If authorities will create bridge on “Chandri-Ara”, we can reach to the areas like Dadasara, Chandrigam, Naibugh, Amlar etc. in minutes, which will be the great step,” Ishfaq Ahmad, a local said.
The locals further said that they have agricultural fields on the other side of nallah, “due to which construction of bridge is important”
They said that “at the time of rains, they are not able to reach their fields because of gushing waters in nallah”
“We suffer a lot in absence of bridge on Nallah in Lalgam. We are not able to reach our fields in rains, which is the matter of concern. If bridge will be constructed, we may take a sigh of relief,” Wali Mohammad Naik told INS.
Many other residents also said that “construction of bridge is the need of hour” and demanded immediate work on this project.
Meanwhile, the concerned official of Roads and buildings department in Tral, said that, he will look into the matter.
