Children Home inmate united with family: Justice Masoodi sees off girl for Aligarh

Jammu: Tulsi, a differently-abled girl child found by Childline in Jammu and housed in Children Home Channi Rama about four years back was today seen off by the Chairperson Selection Cum Oversight Committee Justice (Retd) Masoodi to be united with her family.
The baby is being handed over to her extended family at Aligarh through Child Welfare Committee Aligarh.
Justice Masoodi appreciated efforts made by Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Jammu, and in particular Shalini Sharma (Chairperson CWC Jammu) in tracing the extended family of the girl child and facilitating her return to family.
He expressed hope that all the CWCs likewise shall pursue their duties with similar zeal, spirit and Mission.
G.A Sofi, Mission Director ICPS and Rajiv Khajouria Member SCOC were also present on the occasion who also appreciated the efforts of the CWC, Jammu for their continued efforts to ensure the welfare of Children in distress.
