Sopore: A shutdown is being observed  in Sopore and its adjoining areas to mourn the killing of two local militants in an overnight gunfight few days back. . 
Reports said that shutdown is being observed in parts of Sopore, Zaingeer belt .
Two  local militants identified as Owais Ahmed Bhat and Tahir Ahmed Dar were killed in an encounter at Gund Mohalla area of Brath Sopore on Thursday.
All business establishments are closed in the town while think movement of public and private transport is plying on the roads in the town.
Meanwhile authorities have decided to suspend class work in all educational institutions across Sopore Sub division today as a precautionary measure.
Authorities on late Thursday restored internet services in parts of Sopore which was snapped following encounter.
