Pulwama: A militant was killed and a policeman injured after Gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in DarGanie-Gund area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.

Reports said that one militant probably Pakistani belonging to Jaish was killed and a Policeman injured in a fierce encounter after a joint team of army’s 42RR, 180 BN CRPF and SOG cordoned off Darganie-Gund after having credible input about presence of some militants in the area.

Senior Police official told that that one militant body has been recovered however his identity is yet to be ascertained.

He further said that one Policeman was also injured during exchange of firing however he is stable.
