Forces bust militant hideout in Shopian village

Srinagar:Army on Thursday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Reshnagri village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

Reports said that Army’s 23 Para burst hideout in Reshnagari village and recovered Improvised Explosive Device, IED,and incriminating material.

Sources said that forces believe that this hideout was being used by Jaish e Mohammad militants

SSP Shopian Sandeep Chaudary confirmed to INS that the hideout was busted by a a joint team of Shopian Police and 23 Para troops of Army an unearthed an IED module in Ramnagri area of Shopian.

“Various devices and materials used for making IED have recovered,” police said.
