Govt forces lay siege in Zaloora Village of Sopore, carry door to door searches

Sopore: Government forces Sunday launched a Cordon-and- Search-Operation in northern Baramulla district’s Zaloora Sopore.
Reports received by INS said that a joint team of 22 RR, Special Operation Group of Police and paramilitary CRPF sealed Zaloora village of Sopore .
Door to door searches in the area are being conducted while all entry and exit points have been sealed by the strengthened deployment of the government forces, the reports said.
Meanwhile when contacted, officials told INS that CASO was launched on inputs about the presence of militants in the area. (File picture for illustration)
