Srinagar: A paramilitary trooper of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) who was injured when militants fired upon a CRPF Camp in Midoora Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district succumbed to injuries on Sunday night.
Reports said that militants fired upon camp of 180 battalion of CRPF and in the firing, one personnel of SSB, stationed in the camp in connection with election duty, sustained injuries and was subsequently shifted to hospital. Identified as constable Vijay Kumar, the personnel succumbed to his injuries, a police spokesman said.
“Police has registered a case and investigation has been initiated,” the spokesman added.
