Srinagar: The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Friday held a a protest demonstration in Maisuma area of Srinagar city against the civilian and militant killings.

Witnesses said that scores of JRL activists carrying placards protested in Maisuma chowk after congregational Friday prayers.

The protesters chanted pro-freedom, anti-India slogans and denounced the civilian and militant killings.

Speaking on the occasion, one of the participants said that the “barbarism of Kashmiris” by Indian forces will never be tolerated.

He said that India, the “so called” biggest democracy in the world has crossed limits of human rights violations.
