Water supply to remain effected

Srinagar: Water supply to many areas in Ganderbal, Srinagar and Budgam districts will remain affected today, an official of the administration said.

He said that following an incident Power Canal and Sindh Extension Canal, Ganderbal has had to be shut temporarily.

“Being the source of schemes of Rangil, Aulesteng and other filtration plants water supply in Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal will be affected,” the official said.

The PHE department has asked people to use water with austerity and in case of any emergency following contacts numbers have been issued to the general public to get in touch with. The numbers are 01942452047,2477207.
