Baramulla- A stream of flood washed away a ten yrs old foot bridge back in 2014 at Warpora area of Tangmere in northern part of Kashmir . Three and half year passed but no construction was made for the bridge. This bridge was the comnection of two villages of tangmarg, i.e chandal and darhama.
The villagers especialy students and farmers are highly effected because of the absence of commuting bridge.
Residents are not able to communicate via road, students are facing problems for schools and for higher education on other places. Not only the two villages but many other adjacent villages are suffering and living a hard life.
Locals told INS that divisional comissioner of kashmir visited the area and assured the villagers for quick action, however years have passed, but no one ever visited the area for construction of bridge.
