Stray bullet falls through roof, hits Budgam woman

Srinagar, Dec 11: A woman was injured inside her home on Friday when a stray bullet came down through the roof and hit her in the leg at Woolina village of the central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Reports said that the woman identified as Fatima wife of late Ghulam Rasool Rather was at home when suddenly a bullet fell from roof and hit her on the leg. The relatives took her to District Hospital Budgam for treatment. A senior police officer confirmed the injury to the woman.
Locals said some bullets came from airport side and fell down on roofs of their houses in the Woolina village. The locals have also taken to the streets to protest against the incident. Further details are awaited.
