Tral : The residents of Shahi Hamdan Mohalla Tral have complained that they are facing huge scarcity of potable water from past few months.
The locals said that they are facing immense problems due to non-availability of drinking water.
“It has been months that the area is without water. Due to callous attitude of the department, the issue was not addressed even after giving several reminders to the concerned  authorities ,” locals said.
The residents urged the higher officials to personally look into the matter to mitigate the problems being faced by the residents of Shahi Hamdan Mohalla in Tral.
Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE Tral, Nisar Ahmad Kar, told INS that, the newly developed habitation is partly covered from water suply scheme Tral old and the rest habitation is being provided by tanker service.
“The habitation in question is within the scope in progress  WSS SHAHI HAMDAN COLONY Tral and will be provided water supply as soon as the scheme is completed,” Nisar said.
