Ganderbal: Chopper services have been put to service to take devotees to Amarnath cave advocate the land route has been closed to due to slippery condition of trek.
Offcials said that chopper service started at 10:40 am as Yatra has been suspended over 16 km Baltal cave route.
Yatra was suspended from both Pahalgam and Baltal routes due to incessant rainfall in the Valley, reports said on Saturday.
The Yatra was suspended after nearly 1,300 pilgrims paid obeisance to the cave shrine, yesterday official sources said.
The total number of pilgrims who have performed darshan of the naturally formed ice-lingam has now gone up to 2,294.
