Additional deputy Commissioner on Wednesday suspended 14 Employees of Irrigation department Division Handwara after being found absent from duties during his surprise visit to the office.
14 employees were suspended by Additional Deputy Commosioner Handwara  Muzaffer Ahmad after they were found absent during official time on Wednesday.
Reports suggest that, in a surprise visit to different  offices of handwara division, ADC Handwara along his team found 14 employees of irrigation department  unauthorised absent from duty.
It was also impressed upon the Officals of said department to ditect one day salary and to credited into district red cross society account.
Employees found absent were placed under suspension with immediate effect, ADC Handwara Muzaffer Hussain said.
Legal action under law will be taken against them, Authorities are commited to improve work culture in every office, He added.
