Govt forms committees for annual medical check-up scheme for employees

Srinagar: The state government has formed two separate Committees for Jammu and Kashmir divisions to finalise the non-network hospitals diagnostic labs and nursing homes in the State for the implementation of the Annual Medical Check up Scheme for the State Government employees.
The committee for Kashmir includes Director SKIMS (chairman), Principal GMC and Director, Health Services, Kashmir while Jammu panel includes Principal GMC Jammu, Director Health Services, Jammu –
And Director, Family Welfare, Jammu, according a government order issued here.
The committees have been tasked to select the non-network hospitals/diagnostic labs/nursing homes, which can provide facility of the annual medical check up to the Government employees as provided under CGHS from amongst the acceptance offers received in Finance Department in response to EOI published in media and forwarded as such to the respective Committees.
“The Committees shall also ensure that the non- network hospitals/labs/nursing homes at least minimally conform to the standards/ criteria laid down/ accepted for such like hospitals/labs in the State under the relevant regulatory regime,” the government said.
The Committees may, if necessary, co-opt any other technical member or expert in their deliberations.
“The Committees shall finalise the whole process within one month positively,” the government order added.
