Anantnag: Police on Thursday claimed to have rescued two teenagers who were kidnapped and arrested the accused of the crime.

“One person namely Mohd Zahir Mansoori Son of Mohd Habib Resident of Shankirpora District Araia State Bihar at present residing at Nagipora Kullar Anantnag Lodged a written complaint stating there in that his son namely Mohd Tawheed Mansoori age 14 and his Nephew namely Mohd Mursheed Mansoori Son of Mohd Tajamul Mansoori age 15 years are missing from village Nagipora Kullar Tehsil Sallar Anantnag since 26-05-2018,” Police spokesman said.

According to police spokesman on receiving this complaint a missing report vide DDR NO.22 Dated 29-05-2018 was dairised in daily dairy and search was started.

“During the search and enquiry it came to surface that the teenager boys are kidnapped by someone and have not gone missing. The enquiry further revealed that both the childrens have been kidnapped by one person namely Gh. Mohiudin Shah Son of Amma Shah Resident of Galander Pampore from village Nagipora Kullar,” he said.

Accordingly a case FIR.NO 17/2018 under section 363/RPC was registered in Police Station Pahalgam and investigation was taken up.

During the course of investigation, the accused person was traced and both the childrens have been rescued from the said accused and the accused has been arrested.
After completion of all legal formalities both the childrens have been handed over to their parents. Further investigation in the case is going on.
