BAJ extends suspension of work in court call till April 17

Jammu: Bar Association Jammu has extended its suspension of work in all the courts including High Court call till April 17 on Saturday.

According to spokesman of the BAJ the suspension of work has been done to press upon government their demands which include issues of refugees of Rohingya and Bangladesh, Settlement of tribals in forest lands and handing over of kathua rape and murder case to CBI.

on friday SC came heavily upon Bar Association Jammu for suspending work in courts and also issued notice to lawyers who tried to obstruct filing of challan in the rape and murder case of an 8 year old minor.
