Srinagar: Pakistan on Monday said it will deliver a ‘robust response’ to any “aggregation” even as it reiterated to continue political, diplomatic and moral support to people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistan will deliver a robust response to any aggression by the enemy,” Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan was quoted as saying by Radio Pakistan.
While addressing officers and troops at the Line of Control at Chirikot in Pakistan administered Kashmir Khan condemned “repeated and increasing targeting of civilians by India during its violation of ceasefire.”
“Pakistan will continue its political, diplomatic and moral support to Kashmiris’ just struggle for right to self-determination,” said Khan.
The statement comes a day after Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh said New Delhi has shown it can attack its enemies not only on its soil, but also in a foreign territory, if need be.
“A few months ago, Pakistan, in an act of cowardice, attacked and martyred 17 of our jawans. Prime Minister NarendraModi consulted all of us on this serious issue, and the Indian Army entered the Pakistani area and killed the militants,” Singh said at a public meeting here.
