Shopian: Government forces on Tuesday morning launched massive cordon and search operation in about 10 villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Official sources said following inputs about the presence of militants in these areas, Army, CRPF and the special operations group (SOG) started a massive cordon and search operation in Kachdora, Chakoora , Batapur, Landoora, Garhind, Harmain, Muradpur and adjoining areas..
Such operations in Shopian areas have become a routine.
