Govt orders creation of social media cells in DyCM, CS offices

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered creation of social media cells in the office Deputy Chief Minister and Chief Secretary.
In an order issued here, the government has also accorded to the constitution of a search committee under the chairmanship of Director Information to work out modalities for the functioning of these Social Media Cells. The members of the committee include State Information Officer (NIC), Additional Secretary to the Government, Information Technology Department, additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department and Additional Secretary Home Department.
The Committee has been asked to submit its report to GAD but no time frame has been given.
