176 stone pelters given ‘amnesty’ in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: At least 176 youth from different areas of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district involved in stone pelting  with ‘1 to 2 FIRs registered against them’ were given ‘amnesty’ on Thursday.

A function was organised in the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, chaired by of SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone.

ADDC Ganderbal, ASP Ganderbal,senior PDP leader Bashir Ahmad mir and other Police officers, senior citizens and Udaan project coordinators were present on the occasion.

“The youth were counseled and were given information about Udaan training and post training jobs,” Police said.
