Senior Congress leader Akhoon Hassan joins PDP

 Kargil: One of the senior most Congress party leader and Block President Sankoo, Akhoon Hassan along with his supporters today joined PDP officially.

Akhoon joined PDP in presence of Chairman Legislative Council Haji Anayat Ali during a function held at Sub Division Sankoo.

Akhoon Hassan has taken various issues related to development of Sankoo including its road connectivity and other local issues with the PDP.

Hassan’s joining hands with PDP along with his supporters has been termed a big blow to Congress again as earlier Congress supporters from various villages of Kargil like Thasgam Drass, Drass, Kharbo, Kaksar, Bodh Kharbu, Mulbek, Wakha, Tai Suru, Umba, Zanksar and many other villages as joined PDP during their massive party drive.

As per reliable sources, Akhoon Hassan is likely to be nominated as Block President of PDP Sankoo.
