Srinagar, Sep 15: The Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Jammu and Kashmir has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of former Commissioner Secretary, Khalid Habib (IAS) and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
In a condolence message, Senior Trade Union Leader and President EJAC, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Mr. Khalid Habib, describing his demise as a great loss. He remembered him as a noble, courteous and kind hearted person known for his simplicity and dignified conduct.
Shabnam said that he was a disciplined administrator who had held several key positions, including Director of Handicrafts and Director of Food and Supplies. Khalid Habib was a man of exemplary character who maintained cordial relations with people across different sections of society and was widely respected for his humane approach. Shabnam said that he was a gentleman of noble character, humility and compassion. His dignified personality earned him respect and affection among all sections of society.
Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam recalled his valuable contribution during his service and said that his professional commitment would continue to be remembered by those who worked with him. He also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family during this difficult time and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul eternal peace and the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give the bereaved family strength to bear the irreparable loss.
