DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range flags off Kasilash Kund Yatra from Dudu

Dudu, September 8: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Udhampur-Reasi Range, Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, Tuesday flagged off the Kasilash Kund Yatra from Dudu.

During the visit, the DIG interacted with the pilgrims (yatries) and other commuters and took stock of the arrangements being put in place for their safety and convenience.

Later, Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, visited Gharkatiyas Police Post, where he reviewed the security arrangements along the yatra track. He assessed the deployment and preparedness of police personnel and stressed the need for heightened vigilance and effective coordination to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the yatra.

The DIG directed the concerned officers and personnel to remain alert, maintain close coordination with all stakeholders, and ensure that adequate security and facilitation measures are in place throughout the yatra route.

Jammu-Kashmir Police remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of the pilgrims and the general public during the yatra.
