Srinagar, July 14: Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JKCSF) and President of the Pensioners United Front (JKPUF), Abdul Qayoom Wani, on Monday expressed profound grief over the demise of former Health Minister and ex-MLA Gulmarg, Dr. Mustafa Kamal, describing his death as an irreparable loss to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a condolence statement, Wani paid tribute to Dr. Kamal as a kind, compassionate and humble personality who devoted his life to serving humanity with unwavering dedication. He said that as a distinguished physician and an accomplished public representative, Dr. Kamal earned the love, respect and admiration of people across Jammu and Kashmir through his integrity, humility and commitment to public welfare.
Wani said Dr. Kamal’s remarkable contributions to the healthcare sector and his lifelong service to society would remain an enduring legacy and would be remembered with profound respect and gratitude.
He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Abdullah family, particularly to Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Khalida Shah and Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, praying for strength and patience for the family during this difficult time.
Praying for the departed soul, Wani said, “May Almighty Allah grant Dr. Mustafa Kamal the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive his shortcomings and bless the bereaved family with patience and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
Leaders of the JKCSF and JKPUF also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
