Bandipora/ Gurez, June 25: BJP General Secretary (Organisation), J&K, Ashok Koul, along with BJP Secretary Mudasir Wani and BJP District President Bandipora Mudasir Farooq Jan, on Thursday inaugurated the BJP office in Gurez and presided over a public meeting attended by a large number of local residents.

During the meeting, people from different areas of Gurez raised various issues and concerns, including unemployment and the lack of basic facilities. Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul assured the public that the BJP remains committed to resolving all genuine grievances and would make every effort to address issues affecting the people of the region.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Koul said that the BJP has made significant progress in Gurez and continues to strengthen its presence in the constituency. Responding to questions, he said the party would continue working towards the resolution of public issues and developmental concerns.

Referring to the long-awaited Gurez Tunnel project, Koul said that the dream of the people of Gurez is finally becoming a reality. He stated that the foundation stone for the tunnel project will be laid by Nitin Gadkari and that the Union Minister will also inaugurate the project upon its completion. He described the tunnel as a major milestone that will improve year-round connectivity and bring significant benefits to the people of Gurez.

Among those present during the event were BJP Gurez Constituency President Raja Ajaz, senior BJP leader Rathar Mehraj, BJP leader Irfan Sofi, and several other party leaders and workers.
