Aijaz Khan pays tribute to Imam Hussain (AS), Karbala martyrs

Srinagar, Jun 26: Former JCC Chief and Social & Political Activist Aijaz Khan paid rich tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala on the solemn occasion of the 10th of Muharram.

Aijaz Khan said that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) is the greatest symbol of Haq (truth), justice, courage and sacrifice. He said Imam Hussain (AS) refused to bow before tyranny and oppression, teaching humanity that truth and righteousness must always prevail over falsehood, regardless of the cost.

He stated that the message of Karbala is eternal, and that those who stand with Imam Hussain (AS) stand on the path of truth, justice and humanity. His sacrifice continues to inspire people across the world to uphold moral values and resist injustice in every era.

Khan appealed to the people to observe the occasion by reflecting on the teachings of Karbala, promoting peace, communal harmony, compassion and brotherhood, and prayed for lasting peace, prosperity and unity in Jammu & Kashmir and across the country.
