SDPO Magam, SHO Magam, CRPF Company Commanders and Assistant Commandants remained on ground to supervise and ensure smooth security arrangements, a statement issued to the INS reads.

Specialized teams deployed modern surveillance tools including Sniffer Dogs, DSMD, and HHMD to thoroughly check roads and detect any suspicious objects.

Physical checking of suspicious persons and vehicles is being carried out along the Narbal–Tangmarg highway in the Magam jurisdiction.

The heightened security measures aim to ensure a peaceful and incident-free New Year in the district.
