The inauguration marks a milestone in SDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance year-round tourism in the picturesque mountain town.

During the ceremony, marked by warmth and local community pride, the CEO underscored the critical role of high-quality amenities and infrastructure in transforming Sonamarg into a model of sustainable mountain hospitality.

“Our goal is not just to attract more visitors across every season, but to establish Sonamarg as a benchmark for sustainable mountain tourism,” emphasized Mukhtar, reflecting his broader vision for the region.

The new Barista Café, positioned within the Four Points hotel premises, offers a blend of premium coffee experiences and relaxed lounge ambiance—catering to both international travelers and domestic guests exploring the area’s scenic beauty.

Bilal Mukhtar’s visit was part of a wider trip to Sonamarg aimed at engaging with local residents, hoteliers, and tourism stakeholders. Beyond the café launch, he engaged in discussions on improving essential services like waste management, road access, and coordination among local authorities and businesses.

Local business leaders welcomed the inauguration, noting that premium café outlets within hotels can not only elevate guest experiences but also drive longer stays and higher revenue for the local economy.
