Srinagar, May 7: In view of the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu & Kashmir Haj Committee has cancelled two scheduled flights for Haj pilgrims.

According to a cancellation notification issued by the Executive Officer of the Haj Committee, Dr. Shujat Ahmad Qureshi (JKAS) reads, Flight No. SG-5207 dated 07-05-2025 and Flight No. SG-5208 dated 08-05-2025 stand cancelled.

The committee has stated that revised schedules for these cancelled flights will be communicated to the concerned pilgrims separately.

The decision comes amid heightened tensions along the border and internal security measures across the Union Territory. (JKNS)
