In a post on X, Shah wrote, “Under the Modi govt the spirit of unity rules J&K. Another Hurriyat affiliate organization, Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, has rejected separatism, declaring complete commitment to the unity of Bharat. I sincerely welcome their move.”

The Home Minister further revealed that as many as 12 Hurriyat-linked organizations have so far broken ties with separatism, placing their trust in the Constitution of India. He called the development “a victory of PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s vision for Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.”

The remarks came after Jammu & Kashmir Mass Movement Chairperson Fareeda Behangi issued a public declaration, distancing her party from APHC factions and reaffirming allegiance to India.
